I love how this couple decorated their Shelter Kit home. They payed $35,000 for their 6 acre lot in New Lebanon, NY and $45,000 for the house kit. Maybe its just my modest nature, but I'd much rather live in a self-built cottage on some acreage than a super-sized suburb dwelling any day!

I am the owner of Shelter-Kit and I am glad to say that we really enjoyed working with Daniel and Lizzie on their new home. Their Barn-House is quite different from others we have designed over the last 20 years.
It's nice to read everybody's comments.
And they probably picked all their bright flowers from an obliging field nearby...or at least I can pretend they did!
